Locating a vehicle

Find a car, truck, or other vehicle last known to be in Texas.

What it is

A vehicle locate is finding a car, truck, motorcycle, or similar property last known in Texas — for recovery, documentation, or a civil claim. It is not a repo-man fantasy and it is not permission to take a vehicle that is not legally yours.

When a PI helps

Use this when you have a lawful interest (owner, lien, court order) and a Texas last-known. Do not use it to take a spouse’s car without a court order, or to track someone you are not allowed to contact.

What to expect

The assessment asks for the vehicle, your interest, and where it was last seen. If a PI is the right step, they talk databases, fieldwork, and what happens if the vehicle is found — including when law enforcement or a licensed repossessor has to finish the job.

Texas notes

Texas title, lien, and recovery rules are strict. A licensed investigator can look. They cannot break into a garage or seize a car because you are angry. Out-of-state plates with no Texas tie usually fail this assessment.

Ready for a match — or a clear no? The assessment is $15 and starts with payment, then questions. Or talk first.
