Criminal defense

Independent investigation to support a defense attorney and client.

What it is

Defense investigation is independent fieldwork for a defendant and their attorney: witnesses, scene, timelines, and records the State may not have developed. It is not a second police department and it is not a way to hide evidence.

When a PI helps

A PI helps when counsel needs facts developed off the State’s file — a witness who was never interviewed, a camera that might still exist, or a timeline that does not match the report. If you do not have an attorney and the case is serious, get counsel first. If you are a victim of a crime in progress, call 911.

What to expect

The assessment asks about the charge, counsel, and the Texas venue. Work is usually directed by the defense attorney. You should expect a scope, a privilege discussion, and no promise of dismissal. We do not contact jurors, intimidate witnesses, or run a parallel prosecution.

Texas notes

Texas criminal cases are county- and court-specific. A licensed investigator can work for the defense. They cannot give you legal advice or appear as your lawyer. Statewide Texas matters only. We will not take an assignment that asks us to break the law.

Ready for a match — or a clear no? The assessment is $15 and starts with payment, then questions. Or talk first.
