Child custody
Document living conditions, visitation, or safety concerns for court.
What it is
Custody work is documented observation — living conditions, visitation, who is actually in the home, and safety concerns — written so counsel and the court can use it. It is not a parenting evaluation, a custody recommendation, or a way to “win” a child.
When a PI helps
A PI helps when you need facts, not a family argument: suspected violation of a possession order, unsafe conditions, or a record of who is coming and going. It is the wrong tool if the child is in danger right now (call 911 or CPS), or if you want us to coach a child or take sides in a therapy fight.
What to expect
The assessment asks about court status, the child’s safety, and what you need documented. If we take it, the investigator explains lawful surveillance, what can be photographed, and what belongs in a report. Judges care about method and credibility. We do not guarantee a custody outcome.
Texas notes
Texas family cases move on filings, notices, and the child’s best interest — not on a private video dump. A licensed investigator can document. They cannot give legal advice or speak for the child. If a protective order is in place, say so before anyone starts fieldwork.
